Ikorodu City FC Seals Partnership Deal With Chinese Automobile Company

Ikorodu City FC popularly called ‘Oga Boys’ has sealed a partnership deal with a Chinese automobile company, CFMOTO Automobile towards the 2025/26 season of the Nigeria Premiership League (NPFL).

In a statement by the club on its Facebook page, it was said that the partnership will make the company appear in its jerseys and other promotional materials

“Ikorodu City is proud to announce it has reached a partnership agreement with automobile company CFMoto ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2025/26 season.

“CFMoto, originally a Chinese company with presence and operations in Nigeria will be a proud partner of the Oga Boys ahead of the new football season in Nigeria.

“The brand will henceforth feature Ikorodu City’s jerseys, promotional materials, contents and other publicity products as part of the partnership package in the coming season,” Ikorodu City FC said.

Meanwhile, residents of Ikorodu, sports stakeholders and club supporters have commended the deal and wished the club well for next season.

Mayor Kalejaiye, President, Ikorodu Grassroots Sport Development and former goalkeeper described the development as a vital input to develop football in Ikorodu and bring back the good old days of the round leather game.

“Great move, Ikorodu football on the rise again. I thank the team management for the success and I hope this will have a positive effect on both the players and officials. Congratulations.”

Another netcitizen, Al – Hassan Ridwan, also commented on the deal, writing:

Arinze Goodwill, in his own comment, said:
